We are BEARS (Be Excited About Reading in Schools)
We had a very busy week in Bear Country! On Tuesday, we honored Mrs. Lunemann and Mrs. Veale for being selected as Teacher and Education Services Provider of the Year. We participated in a ceremony at Lakeside with the other county educators who were selected. Then, we went to Eastlyn Golf Course for a Luncheon for the Millville educators. It was a fabulous day!
Also on Tuesday, our Character Education Team, on behalf of the school, received the NJ School of Character Award. This will be good for the next 4 years and will also allow us to apply for a National School of Character Distinction. We are so excited for the future of character education in our school!
On Thursday, we had our annual Art Show and Spring Concert at Bacon School. This event was well attended and we packed the Bacon Gym. Parents and students got the opportunity to see their Art showcased in main hallway and afterwards, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders performed. It was amazing to see how much they have improved since the Winter Concert. Thank you to Ms. Peck and Mrs. Englehart for inspiring our students in the Fine and Performing Arts!

Thursday - E Day - Administrative ARC Day at Mt. Pleasant
Friday - A Day - Kindergarten to OC; Instrument Day for 3rd graders
