We are BEARS (Be Excited About Reading in School)
What an incredible week at RM Bacon Elementary! We want to take a moment to thank our amazing staff who helped plan, organize, and participated in our Undercover Spirit Week.
Your creativity and enthusiasm made it a memorable experience for our students and staff alike! Here’s a quick recap of the fun we had:
Tuesday: Dress-Up Day – Staff showed up in their most formal outfits.
Wednesday: All Black Day – A sleek and stylish day where the staff showed up coordinated black outfits. It was fun to see the unified vibe throughout the school!
Thursday: Anything-But-a-Cup Day – This day brought out some of the most hilarious and inventive creations as staff drank out of everything from boots to watering cans. It was a highlight of the week!
Friday: Mixed-Match Clothes and Teacher Swap Day – The mismatched outfits brought plenty of laughter, and the teacher swaps added a unique twist, giving students a fun opportunity to interact with different teachers. The energy was unmatched!
PBIS Assembly and Students of the Month
In addition to our Spirit Week activities, we had a fantastic PBIS assembly. A big congratulations to our January Students of the Month! This month’s character trait was Courage, and it was inspiring to celebrate students who demonstrated bravery and determination. Keep up the great work!
Reminder for Parents
Please note there will be no school this Friday, February January 31, due to a Professional Development Day. Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work to create the best learning environment for your children.
