We are BEARS (Be Excited About Reading in School)
May 5th through May 9th, we will be celebrating two important events at RM Bacon Elementary: Staff Appreciation Week and Spirit Week.
Staff Appreciation Week is a time for us to honor and recognize the incredible efforts of our teachers, support staff, and all team members who work tirelessly to support your children every day. Throughout the week, we will have a variety of treats and activities planned to show our appreciation for their dedication.
In addition, Spirit Week will give students and staff a fun opportunity to come together and show their school pride through themed dress-up days. Each day will feature a different theme, and we encourage students to participate and enjoy the celebration.

Spring Concert and Art Week
We’re excited to celebrate the talents of our Bacon Bears during our upcoming Spring Concert and Art Show Week! Under the leadership of Mrs. Englehart and Ms. Peck, our students have been working hard to prepare for these special performances:

🎶 Grades 3–5 Spring Concert – Wednesday, May 7th at 6:00 PM

🎵 K–2 Sing-Along – Friday, May 9th at 2:00 PM
Both events are open to parents and families—we hope to see you there to support our amazing students!
Support Our Families Impacted by the Millville Fires
R.M. Bacon School is partnering with Texas Roadhouse for a special Donation Night to support our families affected by the recent Millville fires.
📍 Location: Texas Roadhouse – Millville

⏰ Time: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Bring your appetite and present the flyer when dining, and 20% of your total food purchase will be donated directly to support the impacted families in our school community.
