December 23, 2019 - January 3, 2020

An epic week is in the books.  We had our 3-5 holiday concert, K-2 concert, holiday PBIS assembly, Holiday Lunch, PJ/pizza/movie day...whew!  We hope you've enjoyed the pics on Facebook.

All the students did such a great job this week. From continuing their learning during their lessons to wonderful participation in the events, our Bears rolled into the holiday break strong.

We come back on a Thursday after the break, and we'll be updating the upcoming events early next month.  Check out what we've already listed.

We at RM Bacon truly hope you enjoy this time off.  May your holidays be bright and merry, and we'll see you in 2020.

Hi, folks!  We just wrapped up another great week here at RM Bacon.  In case you missed them, you can check out the pics on our Facebook page.

The Trim-a-Tree was our biggest yet - we had cookies and ornaments and shopping - oh my!  A great big thank you to all who came out and to all the staff who helped out.  None of this means anything without your support!!

Here we go - the final school week of 2019.  We've got concerts, an assembly, PJ day, and more.  Hang on tight!  It's going to be a fun ride.

Here's our weekly preview and upcoming important dates.

One week down, two weeks to go before our winter break.  We've got plenty of learning and a full calendar leading up to our time off. 

Please join us on 12/12 at 6:00 pm for our annual Trim-a-Tree event.  As always, it promises to be a delightful evening of ornament making, snacks, and even shopping!  We hope you can make it. 

On Dec 13, we have a 1:45 dismissal for staff PD.

Our Holiday concert series is also fast approaching.  On Dec 16, we have a concert preview assembly where the band and chorus will get one final run through of their program.  At 7 pm that night, we'll have the concert here at the school.

We've got a busy month ahead of us!  The Holiday Shop will begin on December 12th.  Also on the 12th is our Trim-a-Tree event.  Bring the family out and get into the spirit of the season here at RM Bacon.

Breaking news! We are making a few changes on how we digitally share information.  This specific forum, The RM Bacon Weekly, will still be used to share info, the upcoming calendar and important dates, some announcements, and other information.  After this week, we will no longer share pictures on the Weekly.  Instead, we'll share pictures on our Facebook page in more real-time (or as close to it as possible) as the events occur.  We have found that we get more likes, shares, and interactions from specific events or pictures on Facebook than the blog itself, even if that same info is on the blog.  Let us know what you think. We'd like to thank everyone who came out to our annual Fall Frolic!  It was a great night - the rain stopped long enough for us to get in our yearly tradition, the food was good, the staff was awesome, and everyone left with a smile.

A message from Mrs. Candy - Thank you to all the parents and guardians who sent in drink donations this week!  We have enough to cover both the Frolic and the Thanksgiving Feast!  Donations like this allow us to do more for our Bears.
