Bears,

The weeks and days are slipping by faster than ever.  We are now counting by days - nine to be exact - until summer takes over and we all enter a season of sun, unwinding, unplugging, rejuvenation, and recharging.

Also, take note to check out the few pics from Carolyn Munzenmayer's board recognition on her (and many others) impending retirement.  We wish her all the best as she enters a new chapter in life.

STAFF - we are planning our final PBIS assembly of the year.  We'll have a date selected by Monday or Tuesday, and we'll notify you at that time.

Bears,

Another week of learning opportunities and fun events is in the books.

Last week, our Bears participated in a Millville Police vs. Bacon school floor hockey match, the 5th grade safety patrol leaders went to Wildwood (along with other schools in the district) to engage in leadership and team building, and both our teacher and educational services providers were recognized at a countywide lunch and ceremony.  Thank you Millville PD for making time for our Bears - they loved it, and we appreciate all you do the for the school and community.

Our staff also got to spend some time together off campus.  A number of adult Bears went go-karting at the New Jersey Motor Sports Park, and on Saturday, a group of Bears saw the the motivational and highly entertaining principal Gerry Brooks.  A school family that plays together, stays together.  Great job Bears in keeping the school spirit alive in and out of school!
