We hope you all had a great weekend. 

Here we go - June is here, and the big countdown to 6/20 is on!  We've got some fun things lined up for this month: 5th grade step-up, Water Day, our final PBIS assembly...it's going to be busy month as we officially close out another wonderful year here at RM Bacon.  Check out the pics below - you'll see some ones that didn't make it into last week's blog among other goodies (and you might see a repeat or two from last week - twice is nice, right?).

Bears,

We hope you had a safe, fun, and reflective Memorial Day day weekend.  We honor those who gave all in order to preserve and protect the freedoms we enjoy in this country.  Thank you simply isn't enough, so let us live our lives and treat one another in a manner worthy of their sacrifice.

May is nearly over.  Can you believe it!?  I won't say we are in the final stretch of the school year, but I guess one could say we're in the final lap.  Let's finish strong.  Let's make the rest of May and June be the best days yet for this school year!

Bears,

First off, we'd like to thank Barbara Lore and the HSA as well as Candy Devich and the amazing cafeteria staff for all their help in supporting, funding, and planning last week's Staff Appreciation Week.  We hope you all enjoyed the week (and congrats to the winners). 

This week's RM Bacon Weekly is short and sweet.  If you want to see all the great pics from last week, check out our Facebook page. 

You definitely don't want to miss our spring concert on Monday.  Mr. Trout, the band, and the chorus have been working hard on their upcoming performance.  It's going to be - dare I say it - fun!!  Mr. Trout and the crew entertained the school with a concert preview on Friday, and they certainly ended our week on a great "note."

As always, here's the list of upcoming events to help us all stay current on what's going on.  May has absolutley flown by.  Can you believe Olympic and Fun days are this week!?  And summer break begins in a month?  What???
