It's been a whirlwind week here at Bacon Elementary, packed with exciting events and important meetings. Let's take a moment to recap the highlights and see what's coming up next!
We kicked off the week with a bang as Pizza Bingo brought over 200 of our students, families, and staff together for a night of laughter, delicious pizza, and thrilling bingo games. Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun!
Our Earth Day activities were a hit, with students diving into eco-friendly crafts, learning about the importance of sustainability, and taking steps to make our planet a better place. Way to go, Bacon Bears, for showing your love for Mother Earth!
It was heartwarming to see so many young faces light up the school halls during Take Your Child to Work Day. Thank you to all the parents and guardians who shared their workday with our future leaders!
Our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Assembly was a blast, celebrating the outstanding behavior and achievements of our students. Keep up the fantastic work, Bacon Bears!
Last but not least, Hoops For Bacon brought out the competitive spirit in our students as they showcased their basketball skills. A big shoutout to all the participants and supporters who made it an unforgettable event!

Book Fair:
Get ready to dive into the wonderful world of books at our upcoming Book Fair, happening from April 29th to May 3rd. Parents, mark your calendars for May 1st from 4:30 to 6:00 PM for a special evening session just for you!

Family shopping event will be held on Wednesday, May 1st from 4:30-6
All cash purchases will be rounded up to the nearest dollar. Credit card and eWallet purchases will be for the exact amount. Student can still pay with change (coins).
Staff ASP Meeting (voluntary):
Attention all staff members! Join us on Tuesday at 8 AM for our Staff ASP Meeting, where we'll discuss priority needs and assessments to ensure Bacon Elementary continues to thrive.
NJSLA Science for 5th Grade:
Fifth graders, gear up for the NJSLA Science assessment taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday. Show off your scientific knowledge and skills, and let's ace this together!
It's going to be another action-packed week at Bacon Elementary, filled with opportunities for fun, learning, and growth. Let's make it one to remember, Bacon Bears!
