Last week, our Reading is Snow Much Fun event warmed our hearts despite the chilly weather. Thank you to all the families and students who participated in this special evening celebrating the joy of reading. From holiday-themed books to interactive activities, it was wonderful to see our students so engaged and excited about literacy.
Spirit Week Fun! This week, we’re bringing holiday cheer with our Spirit Week activities! Let’s spread joy and have fun by dressing up each day:
Monday: Dress green like the Grinch
Tuesday: Christmas Overload - Wear gear, or sport your favorite ugly sweater
Wednesday: Top it off with a holiday hat or headband. You can also wear silly
Thursday: Wear your best red and green festive colors.
Friday: Get cozy and ready for the holiday break in your pajamas!
We can’t wait to see the creative outfits that will fill our halls this week!
K-2 Sing-Along – This Thursday!
We’re looking forward to our K-2 Sing-Along this Thursday! Parents are welcome to join us for this special event. Please remember to bring a valid ID for entry. The magic of the season will shine through as our youngest students sing their hearts out and share the spirit of the holidays with you.
Early Dismissal Reminder
On Friday, we’ll have early dismissal at 1:30 PM as we wrap up before the holiday break. Please plan accordingly.

Last week, we were thrilled to host a successful Winter Concert for our 3rd-5th graders. It was a beautiful evening showcasing the incredible talent of our students! Thank you to Mrs. Engelhart for coordinating the Concert and for continuing to grow our Music Program at Bacon. Also thank you to Ms. Peck who provided the decorations to support our Concert.
We also proudly recognized our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Peterson, and our Education Service Provider of the Year, Ms. Thon. We are so grateful for their dedication and the lasting impact they have on our school community. Congratulations to both!
