Bacon Bears,
We are BEARS! (Be Excited About Reading in School)
Happy New Year, Bacon Family!
We hope everyone had a relaxing and joyful holiday season, and we’re thrilled to welcome you back as we kick off 2025! The new year brings fresh opportunities, new goals, and of course, a chance to continue the incredible work we do together for our students and community.
Before the break, our Spirit Week brought so much energy and excitement to the building! From festive outfits to fun activities, it was amazing to see everyone’s school spirit shine. Be sure to check out the pictures in this week’s blog—what a way to end 2024 on a high note!
As we settle into January, please remember to stay connected through the district's communication channels for any updates regarding inclement weather. Make sure you're enrolled so you won’t miss any important announcements.
Looking ahead, we’ve got a packed schedule next week with a variety of activities and events. Don’t forget to check the Weekly Overview and Upcoming Events sections to stay in the loop. There’s so much to look forward to, and we can’t wait to see you!
Let’s make 2025 an amazing year here at Bacon. Together, we’ll continue to inspire, support, and achieve great things.
Here’s to a fantastic start to the year! ~ Dr. Cook, Principal, RM Bacon
Jingle Jam - December 19, 2024
On December 19, we hosted our K-2 Jingle Jam, welcoming over 100 parents to celebrate the season with our talented young students. The event was filled with joy as our K-2 students sang holiday songs, played instruments, and most importantly, spread holiday cheer throughout the Bacon Gym. A huge thank you goes to Mrs. Engelhart for her exceptional work in conducting the performances and to all the teachers who assisted in making this event such a memorable success. It was a beautiful way to come together as a community and celebrate the holiday spirit!
