Bacon Bears, We are BEARS! Be Excited About Reading in School
Last week was one to remember at RM Bacon! Our amazing staff came together and completely reorganized the Halloween Frolic in less than two hours due to inclement weather. The night was a huge success, with more than 450 people joining us for dancing, trunk-or-treat, food, and plenty of spooky fun!
Our Halloween Parade on Halloween was equally special. The Bacon staff went all-in on the Minions theme, with Gru leading the way and every staff member showing unity and school spirit. We were thrilled to have over 100 parents attend and cheer on our students.
A heartfelt congratulations and farewell to Mrs. Gandy, who retired after many years of service as a Bacon teacher, coach, and—most importantly—a Bacon Bear herself! We wish her all the best in retirement. Remember, once a Bear, always a Bear! 💛💙
Looking ahead, this week our 4th and 5th graders will participate in the NJSLA Adaptive Field Test. Please make sure students are rested and ready to do their best.
We’ll be off Thursday and Friday for the NJEA Convention, so enjoy the long weekend and take time to recharge.
