Celebrating National School Counselor Week
First up, we're thrilled to kick off National School Counselor Week! From February 5th to 9th, we'll be honoring the invaluable contributions of our school counselors who work tirelessly to support our students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. To make each day special, we've planned themed dress-up days to add some fun to the occasion:
- Marvelous Monday: Channel your inner superhero and dress up accordingly.
- Tie Day Tuesday: Show your colorful side with tie-dye attire.
- Mellow Wednesday: Embrace relaxation by wearing your comfiest PJs (sans slippers).
- Twin Thursday: Partner up with a friend and dress alike for the day.
- Team Friday: Represent your favorite sports team and show off your team spirit.
Let's make this week a memorable celebration of our fantastic counselors!
Professional Development
In addition to celebrating our counselors, we're gearing up for some exciting professional development opportunities. On Tuesday, February 6th, we have an insightful Eureka Math training session lined up, designed to enhance our teaching practices and mathematical instruction. But that's not all! Wednesday, February 7th, we continue with our ARC Professional Development.
A Remarkable Achievement
Incredible news just in: for the second consecutive year, Bacon has achieved a remarkable feat—we are NOT IN ANY STATUS with the New Jersey Department of Education! This achievement speaks volumes about the dedication and excellence of our staff. Let's take a moment to celebrate this outstanding accomplishment and the incredible team behind it.

- Friday, February 9th: C Day - Jump Rope for Heart, gym, 10 AM to 1 PM.
