Bacon Bears,
We are BEARS (Be Excited About Reading in School)
Can you believe it's going to be May? We are excited about May because there are so many exciting things going on at Bacon! This week our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be taking the NJSLA. We are hoping all of our Bears take the assessment seriously as we our graded on the results as a school. We encourage our students to get a good night sleep, and to try their best!
We had a very successful Take Your Child to Work Day at Bacon. Our families were able to play Minute to Win It Games, make homemade potato chips, read, learn about Bees and play in the Hockey Game. Hopefully, our children were able to see what a difference working in school makes for the future generation and they choose our career path. We also had another epic PBIS Assembly and we recognized our students for being safe, responsible and respectful.
On May 11, 2023 we will be hosting our Pizza Bingo at 6:00 PM in the Bacon Gym. We have prizes for the Bingo games and we have a Basket Auction that will be incredible! Be sure to come out and support our school.
