Bacon Bears,

We are BEARS (Be Excited About Reading in School) 

This is the last week before our Spring Break. We know everyone is looking forward to a break to relax and recharge. In order to make this week interesting, we are having a Spring Spirit Week. 

Our Can Drive for Seniors was a success this year! We collected over 3,100 cans. Our top 3 classes were Mrs. DiGorgio, Mrs. Bowleg and Ms. Workman. They will receive a pizza party and a free Gym class. 

Last week we had our annual Hoops for Bacon. The students raised over $700. They were engaged with all types of physical activities which is a support for our Healthy School initiative. Thank you to Mr. Sooy and Mrs. Muhlbaier for coordinating the event. 

Also, last week we had guest speaker Devin Wyman. Had had the school on their feet with excitement as he presented his positive message on how to overcome challenges in your life. Everyone loved the message and got a lot our of the presentation. 

Joe Corbis Fundraiser 

We will be distributing the Joe Corbis fundraiser goodies on Tuesday at 3:30 PM. Parents will receive a School Messenger with specific details. 

About Devin Wyman 

Devin Wyman was a former professional football player. Wyman was drafted in the 6th round (206th overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. Playing in 15 games with 4 starts over two seasons with New England.

As a reminder, our school will begin Spring Break on Friday, April 7 and we will return on Monday, April 17.
