Bacon Bears,

We are BEARS (Be Excited About Reading in Schools)

We had a memorable return from Spring Break. We hit the ground running and the students and staff got back to work. Our students continue to progress with their ARC and Math fluencies. We are excited for the upcoming NJSLA as we will prove just how much our kids have learned this year!

On Friday, we celebrated Autism Awareness Month by participating in the Bubbles for Autism. Our entire school participated in this event and we even had guests from around the School District visit and support. The goal of the program was to create an awareness of Autism and learn to respect differences in people.

This Monday we will be having our Monthly PTO meeting. We will be planning for the upcoming Pizza Bingo scheduled for May 11 at 6:00 PM. This will be an epic event so be sure to mark your calendars.

Bacon Welcomes our new 1st Grade Teacher - Ms. McLaughlin

Ms. McLaughlin is the new first grade teacher in the Bacon Bear family. She just graduated from Rowan University in December after completing her student teacher at Bacon Elementary with third grade teacher, Ms. Workman.

Ms. McLaughlin is looking forward to creating memories to end off the school year with her first graders. She is more than happy to be back at the school where she first started her teaching career.

Once a Bacon Bear, always a Bacon Bear. 🐻💙
