We are BEARS (Be Excited About Reading in School)
We want to thank our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade staff and students for a successful NJSLA. We are excited to see how our students perform on this state assessment. Although a test doesn't indicate everything, it is a huge measure that the NJDOE and others look towards. We hope that we made progress!
This week is Staff Appreciation Week! We are excited to do our best to showcase the most important people at Bacon! We hope that you are able to enjoy the treats and activities this week and our culminating activities ... FUN DAY and OLYMPIC DAY!
Here is an overview of the Week Thank you to Ms. Candy for supporting several of the events this week! We are so grateful for her! We are grateful to both the MAA (Millville Administrators Association) and the Bacon PTO for supporting our staff!
On May 11, 2023 we will be hosting our Pizza Bingo at 6:00 PM in the Bacon Gym. We have prizes for the Bingo games and we have a Basket Auction that will be incredible! Be sure to come out and support our school.
Monday - C Day - Soda Bar - Grillin' and Chillin' - Dr. Cook will cook Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and all the fixins for Lunch
Tuesday - D Day - Let's Get Twisted - Fresh Warm Philly Pretzels - 5th Grade Testing
Wednesday -E Day - Yogurt Bar in AM - Chipping Away - Sun Chips and Water in afternoon - 5th Grade Testing
Thursday - A Day - Be Cool - Rita's Water Ice - Safety Patrol Luncheon; Pizza Bingo, 6:00 PM
Friday - B Day - Be Grateful - Thank You Cards from the front office; Fun Day and Olympic Day
