We are BEARS! (Be Excited About Reading in School)
Last week was an amazing week with excitement and appreciation as we celebrated our incredible staff at Bacon School. Let's take a look back at the highlights and what's coming up this week!
Staff Appreciation Week Recap: We kicked off the week with Staff Appreciation Week, showering our amazing staff with treats, heartfelt cards, and exciting giveaways. It was a joy to see our staff members smiling and feeling appreciated for their dedication and hard work. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Staff Appreciation Week a huge success!
PAL Night at Fun City: Some of our students had a blast at PAL Night at Fun City, enjoying fun-filled activities and making cherished memories with friends. It's wonderful to see our students having a great time outside of the classroom and building positive relationships within our Bacon School community.
Foam Run Rescheduled: Due to rain, our Foam Run had to be rescheduled, and we're excited to announce that it will now take place this Friday, May 17th. Get ready for an exhilarating and foam-tastic experience as we come together for fitness, fun, and laughter!
Informative Staff Meeting: Our Staff Meeting was filled with productive discussions as we analyzed data and collaborated to plan our school goals for the upcoming 24-25 school year. It's inspiring to see our dedicated staff members working together to ensure the success and growth of our Bacon School community.
Upcoming Events This Week:
NJSLA State Testing: This week, our students in grades 3-5 will be taking the NJSLA state tests. These assessments are crucial as the results help determine our effectiveness as a school. Let's support our students as they showcase their skills and knowledge!
Voluntary ASP Meeting: Join us for a Voluntary ASP meeting on Tuesday at 8 AM, where we'll be discussing our school goals for next year. Your input and ideas are valuable as we work towards continued excellence at Bacon School.
PTO Meeting: Our Monthly PTO meeting will take place on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 5:30 PM. We will be reviewing our Annual School Plan and planning for end of the year activities.
