As our month of gratitude continues, we want to thank everyone who assisted with our annual Turkey Feast for our students. This tradition goes back decades and provides our Bacon Family the opportunity to enjoy a homecooked Thanksgiving Meal together. This year we hosted district administrators, numerous volunteers and our mayor! We want to thank the cafeteria staff for all they did to organize and make the delicious foods!
The week ended on a very positive note (did you see what we did there?) as we hosted our annual PBIS assembly. Ms. Berry and Ms. Sacco rewarded staff and students for their hard work in being safe, responsible and respectful Bacon Bears. Word on the street is that we might have a very special visitor at our December PBIS assembly!
Sad News
Over the weekend, Mrs. Catlett and her family had a fire at their house that engulfed their garage. Fortunately, everyone is safe. Unfortunately, Mr. Catlett lost materials for business. In addition to being there for Mrs. Catlett and praying for her family, we will be collecting the following items for them:
- Amazon gift cards
- Lowe's, Home Depot and ACE gift cards
Our front office will be collecting money and gift cards to present to the Catlett Family. Please stop by or call on Monday or Tuesday to donate. We will give Mrs. Catlett everything on Wednesday.
