Bacon Weekly - November 7 - 11, 2022

Mrs. Gant's students made masks

Bacon Bears,

We are BEARS (Be Excited About Reading in School)

Can you believe that we have completed two months of school? Yes time is flying by and with that said our Daylight Savings Times has also been enacted. Be prepared with the sun setting earlier than normal and the weather getting colder!

This week is a shortened week due to the New Jersey Education Association's annual convention in Atlantic City. This convention is attended by thousands of educators throughout the state and they focus on improving their instruction as well as growing as professionals! No school on Thursday and Friday!

October Trivia Winners!

During the month of October, Ms. Berry put out a challenge to the homeroom classes. Each day she developed a trivia question and the teachers would have to email her with their responses. The winners received snacks and items for their classrooms. Here are the winners.....

3rd Place - Mrs. Gandy - First Grade

2nd Place - Mrs. Catlett - Fifth Grade

1st Place - Mrs. Anton- Kindergarten

Spotlight - Dare to Be Fit

We recently started our morning program called Dare to Be Fit. Students in grades 3-5 volunteer to come in early in order to work on lifelong physical activities.
