Bears,

The first full school week of 2020 is in the books!  We have officially returned to the school routine!  Our teachers wasted no time getting back into the swing of instruction and delivering awesome lessons to our great Bears.

For the first half of this year, we have been deliberately focusing on being positive.  From how we see our work to how we interact with each other and everything in between, we've placed a heavy emphasis on deliberately staying positive.  The benefits of being positive have been confirmed in multiple studies:  happier and healthier lives, more productive and fulfilling work, and better work and home environments to name just a few. 

And the best thing about being positive is that fact that anyone can do it.  It's a choice we all have the privilege to make.  It's not always easy, but it is always possible.  Nobody can give the excuse of, "Well, that's just not the way I am," because through practice and repetition, it gets easier to be positive.  So, yes...You - even you - can choose to be and stay positive!

An epic week is in the books.  We had our 3-5 holiday concert, K-2 concert, holiday PBIS assembly, Holiday Lunch, PJ/pizza/movie day...whew!  We hope you've enjoyed the pics on Facebook.

All the students did such a great job this week. From continuing their learning during their lessons to wonderful participation in the events, our Bears rolled into the holiday break strong.

We come back on a Thursday after the break, and we'll be updating the upcoming events early next month.  Check out what we've already listed.

Hi, folks!  We just wrapped up another great week here at RM Bacon.  In case you missed them, you can check out the pics on our Facebook page.

The Trim-a-Tree was our biggest yet - we had cookies and ornaments and shopping - oh my!  A great big thank you to all who came out and to all the staff who helped out.  None of this means anything without your support!!

Here we go - the final school week of 2019.  We've got concerts, an assembly, PJ day, and more.  Hang on tight!  It's going to be a fun ride.

Here's our weekly preview and upcoming important dates.

One week down, two weeks to go before our winter break.  We've got plenty of learning and a full calendar leading up to our time off. 

Please join us on 12/12 at 6:00 pm for our annual Trim-a-Tree event.  As always, it promises to be a delightful evening of ornament making, snacks, and even shopping!  We hope you can make it. 

On Dec 13, we have a 1:45 dismissal for staff PD.

Our Holiday concert series is also fast approaching.  On Dec 16, we have a concert preview assembly where the band and chorus will get one final run through of their program.  At 7 pm that night, we'll have the concert here at the school.
