We are BEARS! Be Excited About Reading in School
We had an incredible week at Bacon!
Our PBIS Assembly brought the entire school together for a fun and engaging “Snowball” activity that had students laughing, moving, and working as a team. It was a wonderful way to reinforce positive behavior while building school spirit. We also proudly recognized our Students of the Month and presented our prestigious Golden Specials Awards, congratulations to all of our honorees for demonstrating what it means to be a Bacon Bear!
A huge shout out to our First Grade Team for hosting their annual Author’s Celebration. Families were invited in to see their child’s very first published book. There is nothing more powerful than watching our young writers beam with pride as they share their work. Thank you to our teachers and families for making this event so special.
Read Across America Week is Here!
We are gearing up for one of our favorite weeks of the year, Read Across America! We have a full lineup of themed days to celebrate the joy of reading:
Our culminating event is our signature fundraiser, the BEARS Read-A-Thon! This is one of our biggest PTO events of the year, and we encourage all families to continue collecting donations and supporting our school.
