| FUN DAY |
Bacon Bears,
We are BEARS! Be Excited About Reading in School
We Had an Amazing Fun Day!
We had an amazing Fun Day on Wednesday! Even though the event had to be rescheduled and we experienced a few raindrops throughout the day, the students had an absolutely epic time. The new inflatable games and towering slides were huge hits and kept students smiling from start to finish.
One of the most memorable parts of the day, however, was something we could not have planned. After the recent rain, portions of the blacktop had accumulated two to three inches of water. What some adults may have viewed as a problem, our students viewed as an opportunity! The children quickly turned the puddles into a giant splash zone and spent the day laughing, splashing, and making memories with their friends. It was a wonderful reminder that sometimes the most memorable moments are the unexpected ones.
A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Banker, Mrs. Starcher, and Mrs. Lunemann for coordinating such a memorable event. The amount of planning, fundraising, flexibility, and organization required to make Fun Day a success is tremendous, and we are grateful for all of their hard work.
Spring Concert and Art Show
On Thursday evening, we held our Grades 3-5 Band and Chorus Spring Concert as well as our annual Art Show. The students did an outstanding job, and it was easy to see how much they have grown and progressed since their Winter Concert. Their hard work and dedication were on full display, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments.
Thank you to Mrs. Engelhart and Ms. Peck for coordinating these wonderful opportunities for our students and families.
PBIS Assembly, Attendance, and Students of the Month
We wrapped up the week with our monthly PBIS Assembly, Attendance Recognition, and Students of the Month celebration. This month, we added a special twist by having teachers participate in many of the activities and games. The students absolutely loved watching their teachers join in the fun and competition.
A big thank you to Ms. Berry for coordinating another outstanding assembly and helping us celebrate the many accomplishments of our students.
